HIDEThe 33rd Annual Blowing Rock Fashion Show and Luncheon will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Blowing Rock Country Club.
The event will feature fashions by The Dande Lion. A champagne reception and silent auction will begin at 10 am, followed by the fashion show and luncheon.
âThe Blowing Rock Hospital Fashion Show and Luncheon Committee are so excited to present this long standing tradition in the Blowing Rock community. This year is the final year of a three year campaign to purchase new beds for the patients of Blowing Rock Hospital. Support for this yearâs Fashion Show and Luncheon will allow us to reach our goal.â

HIDEMusicians and fans from around the Appalachian region will gather in Ashe Park - Jefferson North Carolina to celebrate this heritage music August 6 & 7. Gates open at 3pm on Friday and 12 noon on Saturday. Primitive camping and food is available onsite. All proceeds will be used to fund Rotary Club Scholarship Fund. HIDE The Cub 7-Miler (2nd Race of the High Country Triple Crown)
The High Country Triple Crown is the premier running series in the High Country of North Carolina. In existence for five years and headquartered in Boone, NC, the Triple Crown consists of three races of varying difficulty and terrain. All races showcase the breathtaking scenery of the NC mountains coupled with the vitality of the local community. Formerly managed by the High Country Soccer Association, the High Country Triple Crown has taken a new direction and is now affiliated with the Appalachian State University Institute for Health and Human Services. Beginning in 2010, 100% of the proceeds from the race series will benefit Girls on the Run of the High Country.

Special prizes from our sponsors will be given away throughout the Triple Crown Events. The top three overall male and female runners will receive $1000.00 in cash awards following The Knob on October 8, 2010.
